What are your interests outside of cycling?
Outside of cycling I am a tree surgeon so spend a fair bit of time climbing trees as you do. Also I like to spend time with the explorer scout group that I am part of.

What are your ambitions for the future?
I aim to hopefully become a professional cyclist and help to inspire the next generation of riders.

What do you listen to while warming up?
I really enjoy listening to music before a race. Normally ill listen to some foo fighters or ac/dc or royal blood before. That normally gets me ready.

Where is your favourite place to ride?
Either in the North York Moors area or the Strines Valley just outside Sheffield. Great scenery round there and never fails to challenge me.

What is the best thing about being a cyclist?
The best thing I think is the freedom it brings. Just being able to ride on as far as you want and where you want. Riding new roads and exploring new areas is always appealing. Especially if its finding a new caf.

What are you looking forward to most about the 2017 season?
I'm really looking forward to racing abroad next year. Taking on some prestigious races that'll really push me and allow me to show myself on the big stage.
